1.What about working with Robbie Williams? He is great to work for, such a showman, it's an honour working for and with him, long may it carry on! 2.Talk us about your solo career. Working with Robbie has surely given to you a lot of fame. I have a website www.silvermusic.tv, there you can watch video clips of the tour and listen to my music, and keep up to date with what I'm doing, I have a few projects going.. One being my solo stuff, then a new album release with BFA[bullets for angels] which I'm quite excited about with singer/songwritter Steve Torch, and last but not least is... Church, that's not going to be the name of the band we still have to decide this, but it's me, Jerry who plays bass with Robbie and also the fantastic Chris who plays drums with Robbie! I'm sure some of you know quite a few italian fans want us to come and play some shows, we are looking into this for later on in the year! 3.Are you and Robbie satisfied about the tour that has just finished? Do you remember something about the 22 of July in San Siro Stadium in Milan? When Robbie pretended to be ill and told us about what the doctor ("tonight you cannot go on stage. There is only one thing that i can do...) said, was it true or only and entertainment (Italy I'm proud to say that i took it in my ass for you!)? I wish the tour would have never stopped, but I suppose all good things have to end sometimes! I'm not sure about the doctor thing! honest! 4.What band or singer has influenced you on your way to play and who used to be your idol when you were a child? I don't know if you know of Status Quo in Italy do you? They were a big influence, also Deep Purple, I like rock bands mainly, when I was a child I loved Marc Bolan[t.rex]Oh and I can't forget the ONE AND ONLY Gary Nuttall. 5.Which is RW's song you best like, that you consider PERFECT? If you love somebody from Escapology. 6.How did you meet Robbie? What did you use to do before meeting him? When I was in LA working on Escapology. I was working with Natalie Imbruglia, and recording for various artist. 7.You played on "Sing When You´re Winning", "Escapology", "Intensive Care". Which do you prefer? They all are different, I had much more involvement as far as playing guitar on "Sing When You´re Winning" and "Escapology", so I would have to say "INTENSIVE CARE"!! 8.Some people think that is more difficult to play in a club with few people than in a big place such a stadium with million of people. Is it true? What do you think about it? Yes I totally agree, in a club you are more under the microscope, every body is so close to you, they can not only hear, but see the mistakes you make! Thanks to Neil for this f*****g amazing (like Robbie says) interview and for his kindness, also thanks to all the users asked all the questions and a special thanks to Marzia R. for contacting Neil! |
